
Vintage King Showroom Sessions
Vintage King Los Angeles and Vintage King Nashville recently held an exclusive showroom event for Mystery Magicians’ M808A tube preamplifier family paired with the Stagger and AEA ribbon microphones. During the showroom sessions at VKLA, the AEA ribbon microphone family was demoed at their state-of-the-art vocal booth with a foot-switchable microphone patching system.
Vintage King Nashville's showroom demoed Stager ribbon microphones and recorded live sessions with artist Steve Stout on the dual-channel M808A preamp with a matched set of Stager SR-2N.
Mystery magicians at namm ‘25
We had the pleasure of exhibiting at NAMM 2025 this year. During our exhibition, we shared a booth with our distributor Kensington Audio Services, and our family, Acme Audio Manufacturing, H2 Audio, Black Box Analog Design, Highland Dynamics, Malcolm Toft, and Overstayer Recording Equipment. It was such a blast to meet so many wonderful gear fanatics and the event went by too quickly.

Mike Avenaim’s Take On The M808A
We recently had the pleasure of Mike Avenaim and Brogan Dutcher creating several amazing demo videos of the M808A dual-channel preamp in action at Mike’s recording studio. The duo created an entire playlist and an array of possible sounds with the M808A preamplifier, showcasing recorded drums and bass guitar sources, with various ribbons, condensers, and dynamic mics. They recorded a huge-sounding intro jam with one condenser microphone on the drum kit and bass guitar DI into the M808A cranked into beautiful saturation.
